The Greatest Valentine’s Day Kids Crafts

Is there anything more fun as a parent than doing cute little crafts with your kids? Grab your littles and take advantage of the upcoming holiday. Get your craft on, Mama!!

I’ve mentioned before that Hubby and I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day. Although I don’t see that changing anytime in the near future, I am looking forward to Valentine’s Day when Bee is a little older. I think it’ll be a great excuse to do fun kids crafts!

Bee’s a bit too young and I’m a bit too busy this year for us to do crafts together, but that doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about it. I spend way too much time daydreaming about stuff like this!

Of course I had to start a Valentine’s Day Pinterest board so I could save all the adorable crafts and recipes I have been seeing everywhere! I want to be able to find them later, when Bee is older. I think it’s safe to say that’s where the inspiration for this post came from.

Here are 20 Valentine’s Day crafts I’m excited to do with Bee in the next year or two:

Hat Craft with Paper Plates by Alpha Mom

This adorable craft is sure to be a hit with your kid! It’s easy, very inexpensive and it’ll add a little something extra to their wardrobe.
Not only does Lindsey over at Alpha Mom share with us how to make Valentine’s Day hats, she shows you how to make hats out of paper plates for other occasions, too!

Glitter Rock Craft by The Artful Parent

All that you need for this craft are some rocks from your back yard, Elmer’s glue and glitter! So simple, right? A neat little craft project that ends with a fun keepsake for your child or a grandparent!

Lil Love Monsters by Eighteen25

I seriously think these guys are like the cutest things ever! I absolutely can’t wait to make these adorable little monsters with Bee!

Salt Dough Handprint Ornament by Life is a Lullaby

This is such a great keepsake and I bet Bee will have a lot of fun making it one day. Your kid will enjoy it even more if you let him pick out his own paint and glitter!

Kissing Hand Pop-Up Card by Buggy and Buddy

This would be a great Valentine’s Day card for an aunt or a grandparent! Really cute and definitely enjoyable to make.

Handprint Suncatcher by Craft Texas Girls

I love these! A lot of the time I see crafts that I know I’d love to make or a kid would have fun making, but I question whether or not I’d actually want to put the finished product on display. I don’t have that problem with this craft. I can definitely see myself hanging these from a window!

Handprint Monkey Valentine by Crafty Morning

I remember being a kid and thinking that making a turkey out of my traced hand was the coolest thing in the world. It’s that memory that draws me to hand print crafts. I know Bee will love doing them and I know that one day when she’s all grown up, I’ll love having a keepsake of her tiny little hand.

Valentine’s Fingerprint Vase by The Simple Parent

I think this is really neat because you’re taking a real item with a legitimate use and personalizing it! It would make for a great gift to give a family member, too.

Heart Chalk Stencil Art by Buggy and Buddy

I’d never heard of this website prior to today, but after finding two neat crafts on here, I think I’ll be bookmarking it and visiting it again later!
Kids love chalk and I love the way the finished product looks! It’s simple, yet adorable and likely loads of fun.

Valentine’s Day Fingerprint LOVE Canvas by The Farmwife Crafts

I can see myself hanging this in my living room! I LOVE it!

Valentine’s Day Heart Caterpillar by Crafty Morning

Another really neat project from Michelle over at Crafty Morning. I’m sure your kids would have a ball making this cute little guy!

Hand Print Flower Craft by NANNY SHECANDO

Another adorable hand print craft because, ya know, who doesn’t love crafts that leave your hands super messy?

Paper Plate Valentine’s Day Wreath by The Resourceful Mama

Yep, here’s one more paper plate craft. Hey, they’re cheap! And this one looks both cute and easy!

Heart Frog by A Crafty Morning

Pretty cute, right? I really like the idea of making Valentine’s Day crafts that don’t involve the stereotypical pink and red hearts.

Valentine’s Day Bird Feeder by Wine and Glue

A fun project that’ll help bring in some birds for your kids to enjoy watching!

Fingerprint Tree Craft by Easy Peasy and Fun

I’m not sure I could make my tree look this nice, but I definitely want to give this craft a try one day.

Heart Peacock Craft by I Heart Arts n Crafts

I love that this isn’t just another pink/red Valentine’s Day craft!

Fingerprint Keepsakes by The Pinterested Parent

Aren’t these cute? We are definitely going to have to make one of these next year!

Love Shacks by Me, Myself and Mommy

Check out this delicious project! It’s a little different from the other crafts on this list, but I think it would be a ton of fun to make with Bee!

DIY Love Hand & Foot Print Sign by Inspirational Momma

Although this project doesn’t claim to be specifically for Valentine’s Day, I think the upcoming holiday is the perfect excuse to make this sign!

Do you have a favorite Valentine’s Day craft that wasn’t included on my list? Let me know!

So many cute ideas. I especially like the fingerprint tree and hand print monkey. My kids’ bathroom is decorated in monkeys.
